Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon passed strict instructions to all Deputy Commissioners of Kashmir valley to ensure proper implementation of court directions regarding monitoring of registration and functioning of private coaching centres.Details were sought regarding new registration, rejection and renewals of private coaching centres from concerned departments.While reviewing, it was decided that committees would be constituted in each district comprising concerned Chief Education Officer, Police and other officials who will monitor the fee structure, infrastructure and other related issues on regular basis and will submit findings so that no fraudulent coaching centre would function, henceforth.The meeting further took detailed review of implementation of Swachh Bharat Programme.Drive regarding cutting of Russian Poplar trees and distribution of relief and rehabilitation cheques, in a transparent manner were also reviewed.All Deputy Commissioner’s of the valley, Director School Education, Chief Education Officers and other concerned officers participated in the meeting.
