Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Nisar Ahmed Wani today paid surprise visit to several offices located in Surankote Sub-Division including BDO office and GHSS Buffliaz , SDH Surankote and GHSS Lassana.During his visit to Government Higher Secondary School Buffliaz and Lassana, Wani reviewed ongoing educational activities of these institutions and inspected laboratories, libraries and the classrooms and asked the head of institutions to take urgent steps for maintaining cleanliness in their offices besides undertaking minor repair work. He also visited BDO office Buffliaz to review its functioning and passed on necessary directions.
In his surprise visit to the Sub District Hospital Surankote, Wani interacted with people and directed health authorities to maintain cleanliness and provide efficient health services to people.The Deputy Commissioner has asked the employees to maintain punctuality in the offices and ensure effective delivery of services to the general public. While stressing for work culture in government offices as main priority, Wani has warned of strict action against erring employee.
