BJP has planned to organize Jan Sabhas in all the 117 assembly constituencies of the state to celebrate "Jan Kalyan Parv" to mark the completion of first successful year of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. While announcing the detailed program schedule at a press conference, BJP state president Sh. Kamal Sharma informed that  the programmes would start from May 26 and will culminate on May 31. "Union Ministers Sh. Thawar Chand Gehlot, Shmt. Maneka Gandhi, Sh. Vijay Sampla, Shmt. Harsimrat Kaur Badal and party's national office-bearers Sh. Nalin Kohli and Sh. Tarun Chugh besides MPs, State Ministers, MLAs, Chairman of Boards and Corporations and State BJP office-bearers would address atleast three Jan Sabhas each from May 26 to 31", he said. These leaders will brief about the land acquisition bill, foreign direct investment, foreign policy and welfare programmes that will directly benefit the people."The party plans to make people across the state aware about the achievements, good governance and completion of successful first year of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he said.

The party would display exhibitions to showcase the achievements of the government on May 27 at prominent places in all the districts. Posters will not just highlight the successful auction of coal blocks, the government’s promise of 24x7 power for every household and stressing its battle against corruption, marked by the passage of a new black money law, but also social sector initiatives.Similarly, a two-day Jan Kalyan Mela would be organised on May 30 and 31 in which officers and officials of banks and insurance companies would also be participating, he said. Camps to promote 'Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana' and 'Pradhan Mantri Jeewan Jyoti Bima Yojana' would be organised to make people aware of the dream schemes envisioned by the Prime Minister, he said. ??The first year of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proved to be far better than one decade of UPA regime, Kamal Sharma claimed. "Modi has lived upto his promise of 'Minimum Government, Maximum Governance' and done a lot for the poor, the farmer, the labour class, the women, the traders, the industrialists and all other classes of the society, including youths of India," he further said. Social media and press conferences will be used as efficient medium to spread the message that this is a “pro-poor, pro-growth” government, he added.
