MANIMAJRA , 09 Oct 2013

Let us transform our humanity into a world of love over the  earth " , said Satguru Baba Hardev Singh in his address to a regional Nirankari Sant Samagam  here today.Baba Hardev Singh  called for  utilizing  the human birth as a purpose-driven life by justifying it with God-realization, coupled with love, compassion and mercy for everybody. He regretted that the most precious human life was misused for materialism and fulfillment of animal desires. In this manner  he, equates his crown of creation with improper instincts. The Nirankari  spiritual head appealed his followers and admires to lead a balanced and consciously- controlled productive life by filling it with the highest ideals of human life. He added that the creator is more important than the creation.

Baba Hardev Singh said, "A life decorated with  futuristic  thinking is considered to be progressive but it should not be limited to technological development only, it must be graced with humanistic values based upon non-violence and principles of harmonious co-existence of different ways of life. The Nirankari Satguru expressed his unhappiness over the rising trend of violence in highly developed countries like  America where shootouts take place in schools and social get-togethers. Baba Hardev Singh ji also regretted  atrocities against women in India were rising.

Baba Hardev Singh ji's mother, Rajmata Kulwant Kaur ji said:” It is the standard policy of Nirankari Mission to build bridges of understanding between all perse faiths and ideologies to bring out the latent human unity present in each religion.” She regretted that human beings over the globe were  mutually distanced in a very painful manner.Addressing the mass congregation, Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda  said: “There is an urgent need to strengthen our country’s cultural and spiritual traditions which have withstood the acid-tests of adverse influences over the ages just because of our eternal faith in pleasant co-existence among perse beliefs.” He appealed to the Nirankari Mission to hold its annual mega-congregations in Samalkha in his state  where adequate facilities and logistics were already being developed by the Mission .Braving long distances and weather-conditions, more than 60,000 men, women and children belonging to various faiths had converged from the adjoining States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Chandigarh UT’s local devotees were seen making all hospitality arrangements like community lunch, canteen, medical assistance, parking, ushering and logistics for overnight stay.

Many troupes of child-artistes, clad in folk-media costumes, presented dramatized items on human unity. A poetical symposium was also held in which Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu poets highlighted human unity in their own artistic styles. In his welcome address , Dr. B.S. Cheema, Zonal In-charge, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Chandigarh, said: “Our region has already demonstrated a high level of religious consensus and unity present in all shades of devotion to God.” He thanked people coming from long distances to attend his mass-congregation.
