Bus fare to go 30% high from 1st oct in Himachal announced the state transport minister GS Bali in Dharamsala on Saturday. He said,” We have also taken note of the long pending demand of the private bus porters, and had  a universal increase of 30% on all services(private or Government).” Minister said that the bus fare in the adjoin hill state of Uttarakhand is already 1.52 paisa per kilo miter whereas it is just 1,11 paise per kilometerin Himachal at the moment . “And it shall be 1.44 paisa even after the said increase, “said Bali. Minister said that now the minimum bus ticket  shall be rs 5/-( which was Rs2/-)The government has not touched the students cession fare, The ordinary bus fare from Dharamsala to Delhi now shall be Rs 628 from 482, dharamshala to Shimla 371 instead of 285 and  dharamshala to Pathankot ,the raiway head Rs 137 in place of existing 105.
