The Durgiana Mandir Committee on Friday thanked the SAD-BJP coalition government for giving its nod to allocate Rs 20 crore 20 lakh for the ongoing Durgiana Beautification Project. Highlighting a copy of the order issued by the Punjab government in a meeting to the committee members Sh. Tarun Chugh Punjab BJP General Secretary and incharge of Amritsar central constituency said that the a range of development projects accomplished by SAD-BJP coalition government would be self evidenced of development in Amritsar in upcoming days . Sh. Chug said that Amritsar would be known as a model city of the country in the next few months. While Mr. Chugh said, “The Durgiana Mandir is a pilgrimage of the Hindu community and the state government is committed for the beautification project of the Durgiana Mandir. After accomplishment of the Galiara Project the pilgrimage will be on the map of the world.” While Sh. Chugh said that the coalition government is always showing seriousness towards development of the state.
On this occasion Satpal Singh president of Durgaina committee and Sh. Harish Taneja general secretary honored Sh. Tarun Chugh for playing important role to bring the project. Further they said , “ We welcome the move of the SAD – BJP coalition government for the beautification of the Durgaina Mandir. Meanwhile the committee members thanked the Chief Minister Sd. Prakash Singh Badal, Deputy CM Sd. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Ministers Chunni Lal Bhagat and Anil Joshi for taking keen interest in the project. Prominent Amongst those attended the meeting Ram Mehra, Ramesh Sharma, Raj Vadhava, Brij Mohan, Darshan Seth, Sanjay Kapoor, Deepak Makhija, Chandershekhar and Roomi Chopra.
