Education Minister Released 'Pervesh Bal Pustika'

Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema today released 'Pervesh Bal Pustika' a magazine containing the writings of Government primary school children of Punjab. This magazine is published by the office of director general school education Punjab.On this occasion Dr. Cheema said that these type of creative efforts become more important in the competitive environment in which the children live today. He stressed that along with the routine scholastic activities the cultural, sports and moral values should also be imparted in schools to make the child a balanced personality.

The Minister praised the cultural activities presented by the school children. He also mentioned that such creative activities in government primary schools under 'Pervesh' project are an appreciable effort. He also distributed prizes to the children who took part in cultural activities. Education Minister also praised the teacher community of Punjab for their efforts in preparing hand written magazines at school level.Earlier Director General School Education Mr. Pardeep Kumar Aggarwal welcomed Education Minister and Principal Secretary Mr. C. Raul concluded the program with a vote of thanks to the education minister. Along with various officials of the education department hundreds of school children and teachers from various districts were also present.
