A five days Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) internship camp for 183 meritorious students from 34 schools of the districts of Kangra and Una concluded at CSK H.P. Agriculture University, here today. Dr.K.K.Katoch, Vice-Chancellor, distributed the certificates to the students and exhorted them to excel in life. He appreciated the efforts of Dr.S.S.Kanwar, Coordinator of programme for successfully organizing such camps and motivating the students to pursue a career in science. He also spoke on the importance of agricultural sciences, global warming etc. and efforts to solve the various problems at scientific level.Prof.Jayant Mishra from Pondychery University said that purpose of such camps was to inspire the students all over the country and sensitize them about the importance of various sciences.Dr.S.S.Kanwar, Coordinator and Students Welfare Officer ,informed that the University has organized 12 such inspire camps in the university with the participation of 1980 students from all over the State. He told that ten experts interacted with students and they were taken around various labs in the University and IHBT. Dr.M.K.Gupta also expressed his views.Some of the teachers and students also gave feedback about the camp.
