Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front incarcerated chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik Wednesday termed Peshawar carnage as a stigma on the face of humanity.“Blood soaked bodies of flower like children are an ugly sight that no human can ever tolerate,” Malik who was today once again shifted to district jail Anantnag after re-arrest, said in an emailed statement.“This carnage is a stigma on the face of humanity and blood socked bodies of flower like children are an ugly sight that no human can ever tolerate. Eyes are weeping, and hearts bleeding to see these innocent flowers being crushed by forces of darkness,” he said. While expressing solidarity with the bereaved families of these innocent children who were martyred by savages, Malik said that Kashmiris stand behind bereaved Pakistanis in this hour of grief and sorrow. “We share the pain and agony of bereaved and pray to Almighty Allah to bestow those martyred with Jannah and punish those who butchered these innocents,” he said.

Meanwhile, a JKLF spokesman said Malik, who was released on bail day before was re-arrested by police just outside Anatnag jail and was kept at Mattan police station till today morning. While condemning this re-arresting and shifting Malik to jail, he said that despite tall claims of releasing all political prisoners, Yasin’s period of detention is being prolonged ‘illegally.’ “JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, deputy district president of Kulgam Assadullah sheikh are also still in Islamabad jail.”

While condemning the “reign of terror unleashed” by police in Maisuma and adjacent areas he said, “Police have resorted to such means that have made the lives of people in Maisuma hell. Nocturnal raids, arresting fathers in place of sons and terrorizing innocent people has become the order of the day. Police severely tortured and injured many Maisuma boys who were arrested before elections and are still languishing in police station Maisuma. All these police oppressive acts are actually like pushing peaceful political workers to the wall and promoting violence.”
