PDP, Congress workers join NC in Beerwah

Buoyed by the candidature of Omar Abdullah from Beerwah and reposing their faith in the unblemished image and youth leadership of NC Working President, hundreds of workers from PDP and Congress joined National Conference on Friday in the presence of NC Leader from Beerwah Professor Abdul Majid Mattoo and youth leader Dr. Arif in Beerwah, a party statement said.The new entrants into the party said they have been inspired by the honest leadership and youth-oriented vision of Omar and wanted to be a part of his efforts to keep the State on the track of growth and development.Professor Mattoo welcomed the workers from PDP and Congress into National Conference and said that Beerwah was set to witness a revolution in development, employment generation and economic growth under the direct supervision of Omar. “Omar has emerged as the cleanest, most honest and visionary leader on the political spectrum in J&K and the people of Beerwah are very enthusiastic about the future of the constituency after his decision to contest from Beerwah. Scores of workers from PDP and Congress are joining National Conference every day to be a part of a new future for Beerwah. The enthusiasm of the youth is overwhelming and inspiring for all of us”, Professor Mattoo said on this occasion.

Among those who joined National Conference in Beerwah is Ex-Candidate in 2008 Elections Abdul AhadWani, senior Congress activists Ghulam Ahmed Bhat and Abdul Rasheed Khan from Aripanthan, Beerwah, Abdul Khaliq Dar, Aijaz Ahmed Sofi, Shakeel Ahmed Sofi and Abdul HameedMalla from Narbal.PDP Halq President from Narabal Abdul MajeedBhat also joined National Conference on this occasion.  Hundreds of other workers from PDP and Congress joined National Conference from Bambrada and Malpora too on this occasion and pledged to wholeheartedly support Omar Abdullah’s vision for Beerwah’s bright future, he added.
