Prof. Saifuddin Soz MP (Former Union Minister) & President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee today distributed packets of relief materials to the flood sufferers at Gangabug and Boatmen Colony, Srinagar.

According to a statement issued to KNS Prof. Soz explained to the affected people that the endeavour of the Congress Party was that aid should reach the most deserving persons and according to their needs. He further said that his Party wants toremain close to them in this hour of hardship. The party would alsoensure that adequate relief would be offered to the affected peoplefrom the State Government and the Central Government.Prof. Soz expressed deep anguish that every hour in the day is an hour in which one hears the horror and misery that the people suffered in floods. Prof. Soz also said that the local Youth had created a history of their dedication for saving the marooned families and they deserve great appreciation. He also said that the Army and NDRF had helped the needy and marooned families in praise worthy manner.

Prof. Soz was accompanied Dr. Syed Ahmad, Nisar Ahmad KhanSecretaries PCC, Youth Congress Leaders Uma Shankar Panday, Pranav Shagotra Manjeet Singh, Rajvir Singh, Neeraj NSUI President, Srinivas and Waseem Ahmad. (KNS)
