Welcoming the statement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on return of migrant Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley, Minister of State (MoS) in Prime Minister Office (PMO), Jitendra Singh on Saturday said a concrete policy would be formed for the return and rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley.

“I welcome the remark of Omar Abdullah who has desired to work for return and rehabilitation of KPs,” Jitendra told reporters here on his arrival after being inducted in the Modi Government as Minister of State in PMO.He was given warm welcome by the party workers and youth leaders.

Jitendra said Government of India (GoI) would form a concrete policy for return and rehabilitation of the migrant KPs in Kashmir.Omar Abdullah had yesterday said that he was looking forward to working with Modi government to ensure return of KPs to the Valley.Jitendra said employment fairs would be organized across the State for unemployed youth.”The mela would be organized first in Kathua in July and then it would be organized in other districts as well.”“I this regard I talked to a major company. I had discussions with them. They will hold a placement camp. If this is successful, it will continue in all the districts,” he said.He said GoI has been contemplating to start thermal power station in the State in view of deteriorating power scenario.The MoS in PMO said GoI planned to provide ambulances to the hospitals of the State. “Besides, a helpline would be started in State for the people”.
