The Industry and Technical Education Minister of Punjab Madan Mohan Mittal today handed over appointment letters to newly selected 32 senior Assistants and 8 Assistant librarians of technical education department to strengthen the faculty needs in Industrial training institutes across the state,  

Congratulating the newly selected 32 senior Assistants and 8 Assistant librarians and their families, Mr. Mittal called upon them to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and dedication in their respective institutions. He said that the recruitment of these senior assistants and assistant librarians has been done in a transparent manner by the special selection committee for recruitments in the Technical Education Department. He added that the stations were also given to the candidates as per their merit and choice among the available stations. Mr. Mittal further said that as Punjab was rapidly regaining its glory in industrial sector by attracting huge investment, the big task for the Technical education Department is to provide highly skilled Labour to fulfill the needs of industry. Mr. R.K. Verma, Secretary technical education and industrial training and Mr. B.S Purushartha, Director, also addressed the gathering.  Prominent amongst present on the function included Additional Director it is Mrs. Daljit Kaur and additional director engineering colleges Mr. Mohalbir Singh.
