During his Facebook live session #AskCaptain today, the Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh today answering query of  Barnala resident Prabhjot Singh on issue of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa forming new Shiromani Akali Dal said that the matters happening in Akali Dal do not hold any significance for the Punjab Government.In this democratic society one can associate oneself with  any party, but it should not threaten the peace and tranquility of state as for Punjab government state's peace of is prime importance.Responding to the query on encounter of Vikas Dubey he said that the Congress government has demanded investigation from the center in this issue. He refused to comment on the encounter saying that the investigation only shall unravel the truth.Laying emphasis on staying safe from Corona virus infection, the Chief Minister called upon to seriously follow measures to prevent the infection as there was no vaccine for the infection.He added that Punjab government has written  letter to the PM Narendra Modi on issue of exams by the UGC. He added that land mutation registrations have been sped up following demands of the farmer unions.He called upon people of state to use mask, use sanitizer and maintain social distancing. Deputy Commissioners in state have been directed to provide mask to poor who could not afford it.
