The state government has ordered district Magistrate Srinagar to hold enquiry into Nawakadal firing incident which led to the killing of a youth on April 30 evening.According to pisional Commissioner, Kashmir, an enquiry has been ordered to look into the death of Bashir Ahmad son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Gratabal, Nawa Kadal, Srinagar allegedly during the firing incident at Nawa Kadal, Srinagar on April 30, 2014.“District Magistrate, Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah has been appointed as Enquiry Officer who shall submit the report along with recommendations within 15 days.”A 22 year old youth Bashir Ahmad Bhat got killed when CRPF allegedly opened fire.  Four others, including a woman were injured in the firing that reportedly took place on a group of youth allegedly pelting stone in Nawakadal area on April 30 evening. The government has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident. The injured were identified as Haleema Bano wife of Reyaz Ahmad Shakshaz and Nazir Ahmad Kaloo, both residents of Gratbal. Bashir son of Muhammad Shafi Bhat a resident of Gratbal, Nawakadal  was doing Pashmina business.
