After assuming the charge of Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Bandaru Dattatraya reached his home state of Telangana today. The Governor participated in the Ganpati Visarjan Festival held at Mozam Jahi Market Bhagyanagar, Hyderabad, as the chief guest.While felicitated the people on Ganpati Mahotsav, the Governor said that the blessings of Ganapati Bappa should always be on the people and harmony and affection should be maintained among the people. He said that fair and festivals connect us together and were the reflection of our rich culture and high traditions. By organizing these festivals, we could not only preserve the culture, but the future generation gets an opportunity to know their customs also.On this occasion, the Governor also thanked the people for bestowing him with great affection and said that as a result of their blessings he has become the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.Various associations of the area also honoured him.Mohan Bhagwat, Sir Sangh Chalak and Swami Pragyanand, G. Raghav Reddy, President and Dr. Bhagwant Rao, General Secretary of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti were also present on the occasion.
