Continuing its action against the social crimes,Srinagar police on 28.03.19 arrested two bootleggers and recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor.Police party of police station Nowhatta led by SHO Nowhatta Syed Junaid intercepted two persons during surprise naka at Malkha Chowk & recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor from two persons. Both the persons were arrested and illicit liquor seized.In this regard FIR U/s 48 Excise Act stands registered in Police Station Nowhatta and investigation taken up.
