Governor Acharya Devvrat released the book 'Katran Se Parivartit Hoti Naari', written by senior writer Shiv Singh Chauhan at Raj Bhawan, today. This book is based on the role of women in different forms in the society besides women empowerment, in which the author has focused on the glorious past of women in Indian society.The Governor appreciated the efforts of the author and said that he has paid attention to the society in an existing context on an important issue. He said that in Indian culture, women have always attained respect and higher positions. The Rig Veda and Upanishads mention several women sages and seers and they were allowed to study the Vedas. Even today, there was no area of development where women do not have an important role, said the Governor. He said that the book was the unique composition of the author.Shiv Singh Chauhan hails from Chapla village of Kasauli Tehsil of Solan district. He has written many books in the past.Advisor to the Governor Dr. Shashikant Sharma was also present on the occasion.
