The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) organized an impressive function at Party Headquarters in Srinagar in which many prominent political figures and Former IAS Office joined Congress party along with their hundreds of supporters and expressed confident in the programmes and policies of Congress Party JKPCC President G.A. Mir, who presided the function welcomed the new entrants into Congress Party.Addressing the meeting G.A. Mir described the Congress Party as the only unifying force in the Country and State, which has served the people and will continue to serve them to the best of their ability, saying that Congress Party will continue to remain committed to the causing serving the people.He said Congress is the only Party which is capable of defeating the communal and fascist forces will also continue fight against those forces who want to divide the country and people for the sake of coming into the power.He added Congress Party is people’s movement and it will continue to safeguard the secular character of the country.

On this occasion Senior Leaders Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Usman Majeed, Gulzan Ahmad Wani, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Farooq Andrabi, Surinder Singh Channi .Those who joined Congress included Former IAS Office Vinod Koul, Adv.
