District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today convened District Consultative Committee/District Level Review Committee meeting of District Ganderbal at Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal here today.The meeting was attended by ADDC Ganderbal, Shafaqat Iqbal, AGM RBI, LDM Ganderbal, DDM NABARD, Cluster Head Ganderbal, Chief Planning Officer Ganderbal, bank coordinators and participants from the line departments.Lead District Manager, Farooq Ahmad Wani briefed about the achievements of the banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2018 -19. It was revealed that the total credit layout of the district is 645 Crores.The meeting was informed that the banks have disbursed a total amount of Rs 397 Crore for establishment of 15291 units up to Dec. 2018 under DCP 2018-19 out of which Rs 187 Crores was extended for establishment of 8857 units under priority sector registering proportionate achievement of 53%. Rs 209 Crores was allotted to establishing 6434 units under non- priority sector registering proportionate achievement of 160%. Out of priority sector Agriculture and allied activities registered 41%, Small enterprises 65%, Education 83% and housing 97% proportionately up to December.Deposits of the district have increased by 28.75% and advances by 19.24 % when compared on YOY basis. CD ratio of the district stands at 67%, which is well above the RBI prescribed target of 60%.Later, Potential linked plan for the ensuing year 2019-20 was also launched during the meeting.
