Noted activist, former State organizer for National Rights and Chief Spokesperson of All Tribal Coordination Committee (ATCC), Mumtaz Ahmad Khan from Shangus, joined Peoples Conference in presence of chairman Sajad Gani Lone today.At a function organized to welcome Mumtaz into the party fold today, Sajad expressed tremendous joy saying that people from all over the valley are fed-up of the anti-people policies followed by the two dynasties. He said that it is time to work towards real change by empowering the disempowered.Apart from Mumtaz, around 150 Sarpanchs, Panchs and workers from Qazigund, Kulgam also joined People’s Conference, further strengthening the party in South Kashmir.On the occasion PC senior vice president Abdul Gani Vakil, General Secretary Imran Reza Ansari, senior leader Abid Hussain Ansari, candidate for Srinagar Parliament Constituency Irfan Ansari, Chief Spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu among others.
