District Development Commissioner Shoiopian, Dr Owais Ahmed today reviewed the physical and financial achievements of various departments under CAPEX Budget 2018-19 and progress on the languishing projects, here at a meeting.On the occasion, the DDC took sector wise review of the progress of projects undertaken by different departments/agencies under district CAPEX Budget 2018-19, languishing projects allocation and other centrally sponsored schemes.Threadbare discussions were held in the meeting with regard to widening, macadamization of roads, construction of PHE schemes, District Hospital and other major projects.The detailed discussion was also held on various issues related to the effective implementation of vital schemes and projects in the district. The DDC directed the concerned officers to mobilise all the sources for effective and timely completion of development projects.On the occasion, the DDC also directed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the construction work on various languishing projects. He emphasized upon the officers to ensure accountability and timely completion of all projects. He also asked for the reconciliation among intending department and executing agencies for better results and timely completion of the works.The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Saleem Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shabir Hussain Bhat, Chief Planning officer, Chief Education Officer, Xens of R&B, Irrigation, PHE and Flood Control, DJM JKPCC and other concerned officers/officials.
