Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath came under fire from the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Tuesday for his comments that the people of his state have the first right over job opportunities in the state and that their jobs are being usurped by the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said this statement of the newly-sworn in MP Chief Minister is not in good spirit and that it echoed the sentiments of anti-north Indian rant often heard from some leaders in Maharashtra. The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also said that people should now ask the Central government for their opinion on the matter. The 45-year-old leader said that by targeting the people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, Kamal Nath is not doing any good and that the Congress leader should realise that people from these two states play a pivotal role in formation of the Central government."UP aur Bihar ke logon ko nishana banana theek nahin hai, yahan ke log hi kendra ki sarkar banaate hain," he said apparently suggesting to the Congress veteran to watch his words as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have enormous political muscles to flex. The MP Chief Minister had said that he wants more job opportunities to its youth rather than allowing people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to come and take these employment opportunities. The statement has been slammed by many on the social media and has enraged the political class, specially in Uttar Pradesh.
