A delegation of the KAS aspirants meets Ch Lal Singh, President Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan, to review the pattern of the selections in KAS. Aspirants submitted that the credibility of Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission has already been questioned by honorable governor and many other stakeholders.They submitted to the President that JKPSC declared the results of combined competitive mains examination 2016 on 4th of December 2018 and the results are very shocking and totally unacceptable as most of the deserving candidates have not been mentioned in the list of candidates shortlisted for the interviews. They submitted that around 500 candidates of Jammu province are very much sure of qualifying the said mains examination but are very shockingly not a single candidate has been mentioned in the list of candidates shortlisted for the interviews. Candidates further said that they personally know many candidates who even didn't attempted papers have been qualified.

The candidates submitted that they are very sure that there are discrepancies in the final preparation of the list because of coding and decoding error, or it may be because of the some error in digital checking. There is also arbitrary scaling and moderation method for few particular subjects. They requested to the President DSS that the ongoing process of the interview will start on 20th Dec and it should be stopped. After giving a patient hearing to the aspirants Ch Lal Singh said that recent selections of the Asst Prof in the ENT department has also been questioned by the DSS. Ch Lal Singh further said that Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan is committed to the demands of the aspirants and will put forth the demands with the Hon’ble Governor of the state. Further central body of the Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan extended full support to the KAS aspirants. Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu, Gen. Sec. DSS, Sh Kuljeet Singh Jamwal Vice President of the DSS, Sh Vikas Dutt, Sec DSS and other members of the DSS were present in the meeting.
