Ch. Lal Singh, Founder President, Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan while addressing a Press Conference today at his residence made a general appeal to the people of the state in general and Dogras in particular to be more vigilant and conscious as the present political scenario smacks of a deep rooted conspiracy to disturb and destabilize the social milieu and cultural ethos of Jammu. This conspiracy is no doubt is being hatched to polarize our state but Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan will stand like a rock and ensure that the cultural ethos of Jammu shall not be allowed to disturb and its age old heritage of pluralism and inclusiveness shall be maintained at all cost. He further said that Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan which is fighting against any domination and discrimination with Jammu and its eight months struggle and narrative of Dogra pride stands vindicated today by the unholy alliances of political parties like NC, Congress and PDP to seize the power in view of the growing unity of Dogras under the aegis of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan led by Ch Lal Singh. Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan wants its relation with other regions on reciprocal basis of mutual trust and on the equal opportunities to all. Ch. Lal Singh did not rule out the possibility of a nexus of both internal and external forces which are active and strike in one way or the other to create a wedge on the religion lines to destabilize our state in general and Jammu in particular.
While elaborating further, Ch. Lal Singh said Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan will expose all those forces both within and across the border which are detrimental for the peace and tranquility of the state. Its only due to these reasons that Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan is visiting every corner of Jammu province and bringing all people irrespective of any caste, creed or religion, on one platform so that the cultural glory of Dogras and its inclusiveness where Lion and Goat live together with peace and trust, does not shatter at any cost.While commenting on the political scenario in J&K, Ch. Lal Singh said that it is unfortunate that a big chunk of population as well as area both of Jammu and Ladakh have to face the consequences of disturbance in the valley and people have to suffer and sacrifice their respective elected representatives. It is heavy prize which Jammu and Ladakh have to pay for keeping their nationalistic approach high in their agenda. He further said that it is the time when the Government must think that an alternative be explored where Jammu and Ladakh may not be made scapegoat and suffer for the sin which they never committed.Ch. Lal Singh promised the general masses of Jammu that Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan shall keep its struggle on for uniting the Dogras and any attempt to thwart our efforts, be it internal or external, shall be dealt sternly and a new era of peace, Dignity and pride for Dogras is being envisaged.He also appealed to the people to give massive participation in the ongoing Panchyat Election and ensure the victory of those candidates who are committed to the Vision of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan and always stand for the nation first.Those others participated in the conference include Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu, General Secretary, K.D. Singh, Kuljeet Singh and Rajinder Gupta vice presidents and some heads of frontal organizations also were present.
