The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday condemned the cowardly attack on a sect dera at village Adliwal near Amritsar and showed solidarity with the victim families. AAP demanded govt. job and compensation of Rs. 1 crore to the families who lost their member in attack.Addressing the media at Chandigarh, AAP senior leader and MLA Aman Arora and MLA Meet Hayer said that the law and order situation in state has gone from bad to worst due to the failure of state govt. and intelligence agencies. He said that the agencies need to be alert in such situation.Arora said that the govt. had announced a high alert suspecting militant activity few days back and even the army chief had deduced such incident publically. He said despite getting all the information regarding it the anti-social aliments still succeeded to kill innocent people. He termed the incident as complete failure of state and central govt.

AAP leader said that the political parties must abstain from politicizing such sensitive issues just for votes. Answering a question regarding statement of AAP leader Adv. H.S. Phoolka on the issue, he said that Adv. Phoolka himself has cleared the air about what he said earlier and taken back his statement still party clarifies that as the investigations are going on, the politicians from all parties must abstain from giving statements in this regard. He appealed to the people of Punjab to maintain peace and prosperity in the state.Reacting on move of Congress leader Raj Kumar Verka to register a case of sedition against Adv. H.S. Phoolka, Arora said that it is unfortunate that Verka is politicizing the issue for getting political mileage. He is doing all this to hide the failures of Congress govt. in state. Arora said that Verka must ask his govt. to protect the people of Punjab look into the worst of all times law and order situation in state.AAP youth wing president Manjinder Singh Sidhu, Malwa-3 Zone president Dalbir Singh Dhillon, legal cell head Jastej Singh Arora, spokesperson Satbir Walia and state media head Manjit Singh Sidhu were also present during the press conference.
