BJP-SAD Leaders have strongly condemned Capt’s “Clean Chit” to 1984 countrywide riots and killings of sikh community main culprit Jagdish Tytler has put salt on the wounds of sikh community. On Sunday President, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandak Committee Manjit Singh GK, BJP Leader and MLA from Delhi R P Singh, Akali Leader Avtar Singh Hit, BJP State Vice President Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina addressed a Joint Press Conference condemned Capt’s Clean Chit to Tytler and described it as a well planned Statement. Sikh leaders said that Capt. has issued such a statement visualizing sure defeat from Amritsar to hurt the feelings of Sikhs. Even after 30 years of open killings of Sikhs all over the country putting Sikh mothers, sisters and their families to utmost hardships no punishment has been given to its culprits. Not only this “Clean Chit” is being provided by Congress Party candidate from Amritsar Capt. Amrednra Singh has added fuel to the fire. Sikh leaders further said that Congress in every elections plays the same card.
Sikh leader further clarified that each and every Enquiry Committee Report has found Jagdiah Tytler, Sajjan Kumar and H K L Bhagat as culprits of 1984 riots. Sikh leaders further clarified that these leaders are being protected as Congress High Command knows well that riots took place on the orders of Rajiv Gandhi and if they are not protected they may take the name of the Gandhi Family actually responsible for 1984 riots. That is why no action has been taken against these Congress Leaders.
DSGPC Chief Shri Manjit Singh GK produced a document wherein Giani Jail Singh the then President of India has mentioned that the Prime Minister Office and Office of Home Minister P V Narasima Rao stopped picking up his calls from Rashtrapati Bhavan. Sikh Leader said that Congress Party has given its Ticket to such a leader who has been giving clean chit to the culprits of 1984 riots while the Youth Vice President Rahul Gandhi has publically accepted the role of congress leaders in 1984 riots. From this it is clear that Capt. has once again hurt the feelings of sikh community which the Sikh Community of Amritsar is going teach Capt a lesson by defeating him with historic margin for hurting the sentiments of his own sikh community. The sikh leaders further said in 2002 Congress Government constituted S I T for Gujrat riots but for 1984 riots till date no S I T has been constituted. We demand immediate constitution S I T under Supreme Court supervision to punish culprits of 1984-riots.
