State Vigilance Bureau today registered a fraud case against Secretary Cooperative Society Shyam Sunder for duping two farmers.Disclosing this here today a spokesman of Vigilance Bureau Punjab said an embezzlement case has been registered against Shyam Sunder, Secretary of Cooperative society posted at Gandiwand Patal Village, in Taran Taran district for cheating society members Bara Singh and Swaran Singh in two different cases.Giving details he said  complainant Bara Singh has alleged that Shyam Sunder has duped him for not depositing his crop loan amount of Rs. 93,860/- which he had already paid to the society to clear the dues standing against his loan taken in 2010.Similarly, Shyam Sunder has duped another farmer Swaran Singh for not depositing his crop loan amount of Rs. 73,000/- which he had handed over to the secretary to clear his dues standing against his loan borrowed in 2014.The spot informed that in this case the Vigilance Bureau has registered a case against the accused secretary at VB police station Amritsar and further investigation is under progress.
