The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore, launched a book "You Can Achieve More" authored by an  internationally acclaimed educator and a motivational speaker and an author of many bestsellers like "You Can Win",  Shiv Khera’s latest book,  here at  Punjab Raj Bhawan today.Addressing an elite gathering present at the book launch, the Governor recalled his long association with Mr. Khera starting  from his home town Bhilwara in Rajasthan where he spent three days with Mr. Khera attending his motivational talks. The Governor quoted a few  stories narrated by Mr. Khera which influenced him and changed his perception of life in many ways. He had started analyzing himself as a politician,  meeting people, hearing their woes and resolving their issues with great commitment and dedication. The book is a road map for a journey to achieve more and illustrates and clarifies to help find direction in a cluttered environment. The idea  of this book is to help create an action plan to optimise potential or in other words achieve more, because acquiring facts is knowledge, interpreting  facts understands, and the proper application of facts is wisdom.

Talking about his book, Mr Khera said: “I am not an expert in any industry but having lived in the US for over 40 years and worked in over 25  countries, I find that, all over the world, more than business problems, we have people problems and when we take care of our people's problems, most  of our business problems are automatically resolved. In his earlier best-seller You Can Win, Mr Khera had said, “A person with positive attitude cannot be stopped and a person with negative  attitude cannot be helped.”While the messages contained in this book are timeless, due to their relevance, they are desperately needed today more than ever before. In  fact, this book covers topics that resonate with every person's life.Prominent amongst others who attended the Book Launch included, Mr. Yaduvendra Mathur, Additional Secretary NITI Ayog, Mr. Parimal Rai  Advisor to the Administrator, General K.J.Singh, Justice K.S. Grewal, Mr. Vivek Attray, Members of the Literary Society and Book Club, Former Vice  chancellor  of Punjab University, Mr. Arun Grover, many students from Punjab University, Mayoo alumni & other senior civil and police officers.
