Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo, today chaired an Executive Committee meeting of State Health Society.Threadbare discussions were held on action taken report of the last meeting of Executive Committee.Atal Dulloo said that Directorate of Health Services Kashmir should get the menu prepared along with the cost and quantity of each food item and submit the same to State Health Society for seeking approval of the Chairman Executive Committee.It was also decided that JK Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL) shall expedite the process for procuring the Mobile Blood Collection and Transportation Vehicles and ensure that the rate contract is finalized very soon.He also reviewed the performance of the doctors, posted in the health institutions in far-flung areas.The Principal Secretary also emphasized upon the need for sufficient human resource to ease the workload of First Referral Units (FRUs) in a phased manner, augmenting OTs/ labour rooms with adequate staff viz Gynecologists, Anesthetists, Pediatricians, Medical Officers, paramedics and other support staff.The chair directed the representative of JKMSCL to expedite the tendering process of ambulances and complete the process within two months.  He also directed MD NHM for sharing the calendar of trainings with the HODs as well as with districts to ensure completion of trainings within the stipulated period.The meeting was attended by Mission Director, NHM, Bhupinder Kumar, MD, JK Medical Supplies Corporation, Inderjeet, Director ISM, Neeraj Kumar, Principal GMC Srinagar, Saima Rashid, Director Family Welfare, Dr. Sameer Mattoo, Deputy Director, Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Kunzus Dolma, Deputy Director, Health Services Jammu, Dr. Chander Prakash, programme Managers from State Health Society and other concerned.
