Governor Acharya Devvrat said that the major agricultural investors of the country were ready to take the entire natural produce of the state at one and a half times more rates. He said the pace at which the State was moving ahead it would soon emerge as a natural farming state.The Governor was speaking on the occasion of farmers training camp at Agriculture University Palampur organized by Agriculture Department, today. He said that under the zero budget natural project, the farmer who displays the natural farm would be made a master trainer and this would encourage other farmers too. He said that farmers would be provided cow of Indian breed on subsidized rates through state government, for which private entrepreneurs have expressed their willingness to bear 50 percent cost.The Governor lauded the contribution of Padamshree Subhash Palekar in developing the concept of zero budget natural farming and said that he was the saint of present time who devoted his life for the benefit of farming community. He added that it was due motivation of Subhash Palekar that he himself adopted this method of farming. 

He said that agricultural land in Himachal was more fertile than other States and by using 'jeevamrit' and 'Ghanjeevamrit' under natural farming, it would produce crops in the form of gold."Farmers have no interest in chemical farming as it is poisonous and they are also not adopting organic one, as it is costly and non reliable. Now, the only option is natural farming as in this, the farmer does not have to spend a single penny and the benefits are many" said the Governor. He invoked that by adopting this method, we could do great work in national interest and this work was linked to humanity. He also explained various benefits of natural farming on the basis of facts and results of various agriculture universities on natural farming. He urged the scientist to research on natural farms and give the findings so that the truth could be revealed in front of everyone.Padamshree Subhash Palekar, Rakesh Kanwar, Project Director, ZBNF, Prof. Ashok Saryal, Vice Chancellor, Agriculture University, Palampur, Des Raj Sharma, Director, Agriculture, Santosh Patyal, other prominent people and farmers of six districts were present on the occasion.
