The Local Government, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister, Punjab, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu released a book penned by the acclaimed soft skill trainer and career counsellor National Awardee Gurleen Khaira. The book titled Nurses’ Guide to the Updated 2.0 is designed to familiarise the candidates with the exam changes and fill the gap in training and knowledge.This book provides the essentials needed to score a passing grade in the OET (Occupational English Test) and provides a valid and reliable assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – with an emphasis on communication in healthcare professional settings. OET is an English language test that is designed for health professionals who seek to register and practice in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Dubai.Congratulating Gurleen Khaira for bringing out the book, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu said that this book would go a long way in helping the nursing professionals who want to make their mark abroad.On the occasion the Father of Gurleen Khaira, Mr. Paramjit Singh Khaira (Ex Kabbadi Player and Retd SP) was also present.
