District Development Commissioner Simrandeep Singh today reviewed the working of Revenue department here at a meeting of the concerned officers.He inquired about the status of writing of Jamabandis, Girdawaries, attestation of pending mutations, removal of encroachments from State land and filling of annual property statements by the officials of the department.The meeting was attended by ADDC  Mohammad Hanief Malik, ADC Pawan Kumar Parihar, ACR Tariq Hussain Naik, SDMs Anwar Banday, Dilmir Chd, Varunjeet Charak, and all Tehsildars of the district.The DC directed the Revenue officers to speed up the process of writing of Jamabandies to meet the set targets well in time.He further directed to attest the Inheritance and other mutations within the stipulated time as prescribed under PSGA as also clear the mutations pertaining to other departments where final award stands issued by the concerned land acquisition collectors.The DC also reviewed the progress on removal of encroachment from state/Kacharari/common land. He further directed to keep strict vigil to prevent encroachment on highways and other roads in and around the towns.Meanwhile, the SDMs and Tehsildars were asked to furnish the list of natural calamity relief cases of their respective jurisdictions for its clearance.
