Expressing deep concern over the perception being created by a section of National Media, Political Analysts and few other elements that Amarnath Yatra may come under militant attack, AIP Supremo Er. Rasheed has said that Kashmiris have never been communal and it is the Muslim community which through its all-out support and efforts ensures Yatra a success. In a statement issued today Er. Rasheed said “The fringe and intentionally motivated elements must stop using Yatra for their vicious personal agendas. Kashmiris firmly believe that their struggle is political and not against any community, religion or Indian masses.Respecting Yatries is their religious obligation and if they have raised reservations over environmental concerns or few other vital issues from time to time that has never been aimed to communalise the Yatra”.Er. Rasheed appealed militant organisations to ensure safety of Yatries and said that they must do whatsoever possible to prevent a section of media and anti-Kashmiri forces in India from using Yatra to prove Kashmiris communal. He said that all pro-resistance groups and militant organisations have always maintained that Yatries are guests of Kashmiris and their security is concern of everyone in Kashmir.Er. Rasheed expressed hope that militant organisations will understand the sensitivities of the matter and prove all those forces wrong that are keen bent to prove Kashmiris communal and radical.      (PTK)
