IAS probationers call on Governor

A batch of five IAS probationers who have been allotted Himachal Pradesh cadre, met Governor Acharya Devvrat here today. These probationers are undergoing state specific training at the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Institution (HPIPA), Shimla.During the interaction, the Governor expressed hope that with the joining of few more young into the administrative hierarchy of the state, the governance delivery system would further improve. He said that their attitude and approach towards their job was important as it would not only shape their own careers but also the future of the nation.“You all are young and fortunate that you have got good opportunity to serve the country. Be inspiration for others with your talent and play an important role in building the nation and society," said Acharya Devvrat.He advised them to work for the development of tourism, water conservation and natural farming in the State.He wished the IAS probationers a successful and eventful tenure in the State.Director HIPA C.P. Verma and Joint Director Jyoti Rana were also present on the occasion.
