The Monday’s campaigning of BJP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat witnessed four road shows, two meetings, six public meetings and one gate rally of the employees.  The campaigning evoked over whelming response and assertions that no one can bar her from winning the seat. In the different programs BJP president Sanjay Tandon, former minister Harmohan Dhawan, former MP Satya Pal Jain, SAD Chandigarh president Jagjit Singh Gora Kang, Chandigarh senior deputy mayor Heera Negi and municipal councilor Saurabh Joshi accompanied her.The beginning was made in morning from sector 23, sector 24 and sector 25 road shows wherein Jagjit Kang and municipal councilor Jaswal Kiran accompanied  Kirron Kher. Despite Monday being a working day and day for festivities if Ashtami, women participated in Kirron’s road show in large numbers.  

After interacting with media at the BJP’s office in sector 37, Kirron reached the office of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) in sector 17 where she shared her ideas about Chandigarh with the judges and advocates. Speaking at the event, former MP Satypal Jain said that Kirron Kher is running across the city the same way advocates run from CAT to district courts to high court. “I salute Kirron’s spirit and assert you that the way you fight for justice, Kirron Ji will fight for your rights,” he said. Kirron Kher thanked Satya Pal Jain for teaching her nuances of life and appealed the audience to vote for her.She then participated in the gate rally of employees of the Government Medical College and Hospital, sector 32. The staff members and junior doctors listened to Kirron in rapt attention. She asserted them of taking up issues of regularization and pension on priority basis. She then joined the followers of Art Of Living organization in Hotel Orbit at sector 34. She did not deliver any lecture here as the people asserted her of complete support. Kirron meditated here for sometime and appreciated the efforts of the members of AOL. 

At the next stopped in sector 46, she participated in program held by BJP;s Uttrakhand cell. The senior deputy mayor Heera Negi and former CM Uttrakhand Major General (retd) Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri were especially present. Khanduri was specially in Chandigarh to canvass for Kirron. He said that the people from Uttarakhand, who are settled in Chandigarh, will surely vote for Modi government. Kirron said that on being elected she would primarily work on erecting Uttarakhand Bhawan. After that she held five public rallies in villages of Burail, Palsora, Bareri, Attawa and Kajheri where the streets of these areas choc-a-bloc with her supporters. At Burail, Dhawan said   that the way he has always worked for people, Kirron will do the same and serve them. Addressing the people she said that after electing BJP to power, the party will prepare action plan on providing adequate water, power, problem of lal dora, compensation of land and associated issues. The campaigning for day ended at sector 33  road show.
