The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, V.P. Singh Badnore, while presiding over the meeting of Board of Governors of Punjab Public School, Nabha here today, reviewed the activities, achievements and future programmes of the school.Appreciating the overall outstanding progress of the school, the Governor asked the Headmaster to impart IT based education to the students and imbibe moral values and habit of work culture in them. He said in order to provide better facilities, required infrastructure and funds to run the school smoothly it was our moral duty to join hands and heads to find out the ways to meet them.Earlier, Dr. Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster of the School apprised the Governor regarding the working of school activities. He also apprised His Excellency and Members present that the students of The Punjab Public School, Nabha have once again kept the school flag high by showing excellent results in ICSE (X) and ISC (XII) Board Exams-2018 conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.Giving academic details, he said that in ISC (Science Stream) Lovepreet Kaur stood first with 94.3% marks followed by Dep Ensu Aggarwal with 93% (Second) and Mansher Singh & Pranshul Sood (Third Shared) with 92%. All 21 students who appeared for the ISC exams (Science Stream) passed with Distinction. 

The batch average is 89.1%.  In ISC (Commerce Stream), Pushpinder Singh & Kazandeep Kaur stood first (Shared) with 94.3% marks followed by Jaspreet Kaur with 92.8% (Third). Out of 39 students who appeared for the exams, 38 passed with distinction, 1 in first division. The batch average is 84.8%.  In ISC (Humanities), Aardhya Jain stood first 95.3% marks followed by Bhavjot Singh with 95% (Second) and Jasnoor Kaur with 94% (Third). All 26 students who appeared for the exams passed with distinctions. The batch average is 89.9%.In ICSE, Trisha Banerjee stood first with 96.8% marks, Ishita Garg stood second with 96.6% and Yashaswi Garg stood Third with 95.20% marks. Out of 136 students who appeared for the exams, 115 passed with distinction and 21 with first division.  The batch average is 82.4%.In ICSE (X) 23 students made a perfect score of 100 in Computer Application and in ISC 11 students made a perfect score 100 marks in Physical Education, 1 student made a perfect score 100 marks in Commerce and 8 students made a perfect score of 100 marks in Political Science.His Excellency and the Members present appreciated the Headmaster for excellent results and overall progress made by the School. The academic growth and other developments in the School were put up for perusal of the Board during the meeting. EoM
