Congress committee, along with over 2 dozen heads of trade bodies of Ludhiana , Mr. Jagmohan Sharma , who has strong and sizeable following among the traders & industrial bodies in the city, today formally announced his decision to join the Shiromani Akali Dal at a function organized in the city,presided over by Dy.CM Sukhbir singh badal .Highly enthused by the development, Sukhbir badal said he is more than confident about the smooth & easy victory path of Manpreet Singh Ayali, SAD-BJP candidate , in the ensuing elections as two big congress leaders namely Birmi & Meharban had already joined Akali Dal,recently. He applauded the hard work being put in by all the SAD & BJP workers in rural & urban areas during their campaign. On the occasion, he also assured the entrepreneurs associated with the local trade bodies that announcement relating to the industrial packages for the state would be one among the many firsts that NDA govt. would announce immediately on formation of Govt. at the centre.
