The Lok Sabha on Friday paid tribute to Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyr day today. A delegation of Lok Sabha members from Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi, Sunil Kumar Jakhar and Ravneet Singh Bittu had on Thursday met the speaker of Lok Sabha and requested her to insure that the martyrs get respect from the house on their martyrdom day. Acting on the request, the Speaker asked the house to collectively pay tribute to the martyrs by keeping silence for 2 minutes.In the day, MPs Aam Aadmi Party and other parties went to the statue of the martyrs in Lok Sabha complex and paid floral tribute to them. Talking about it, Bhagwant Mann said that the martyrs are the treasure of our nation and we must insure that due respect be given to them. He demanded that the chairs on that Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt were sitting before dropping bomb in the assembly must be secured and their photos must be placed on the chairs.  Mann said that Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh was an institute in himself and the youth of nation must follow his thoughts for making the nation great again.
