Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing a public meeting at Bangana in Kutlehar assembly constituency of Una district today announced  early sanctioning of estimated funds of Rs.1.08 crore for improvement of  Badalia-Tiuri lift weater supply scheme (LWSS) phase II, a sum of Rs 5.38 crore  as estimated for construction of check dams  at Deehar, Chamoli and Chambora, a sum of already estimated Rs. 74.39 lakhs for lift irrigation supply scheme Badoli-Tiuri, to release estimated amount of Rs. 2.20 crore for improvement of water supply scheme to LWSS Ramgarh-Dhar. He said that  amount of Rs. 18.5 crore already estimated for LWSS for Gram Panchayats Karmali, Arlu, Sukariyal, Piplu, Jasana and Hatli Kesaru from Beas river would be made available soon.The Chief Minister announced to provide adequate funds for mini secretariat building at Bangana for which provision will be made in the budget. Besides, he announced construction of link roads as demanded under Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojna. He assured to fill up posts of doctors in Community Health Centre Bangana and Thanakalan. The Chief Minister  announced upgradation of Government High School Chulhadi to Government Senior Secondary School and upgradation of Vetrenay dispensaries Chhaproh and Lathiani.He said as of today, the congress leaders have started questioning his visits to Delhi, and I want to make them clear that for getting the funds for development of the state and for welfare of the people,  if need be, I will go to Delhi time and again as it was not the congress government in Delhi but it was the Government of Narendra Modi, which cares for the needs of the people of Himachal Pradesh . 

If the Union government would not have provided loan of Rs. 500 crore lately, the coffers of the state government would have been empty without a penny to give to the employees, he said.   He added it was the congress government which appointed number of Chief Secretaries,  Chairmen and vice-chairmen of  various boards and corporations who had spent lavishly emptying the state coffers.He said that the Union government under leadership of  Prime Minister Shri Narendar Modi was completing its term of office in 2019 and exhorted the people to vote for BJP, candidates for parliamentary elections so as to ensure Modi’s Government once again in the centre.  He said the country never witnessed such a massive change towards development and a step towards digital India, as happened during the regime of  Narendra Modi.  He dared the congress to prove any act of omission or commission during four year regime of Modi Government. Today India was becoming the super power under Narendar Modi and the world over knows this very well, he said.What else congress wants, Chief Minister  asked adding that it was during the BJP rule that Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) at Una, Rs. 450 crore PGI satellite centre at Una, 69 National Highways, Indian Institute of Technology at Mandi, Indian Institute of Management in Sirmaur,   Central University, Hydro-engineering college in Bilaspur, and many other projects were sanctioned for the state by NDA government.Shri Jai Ram Thakur said  it was the Congress government  in the state which kept delaying preparation of detailed oroject reports fearing that the credit will go to the Union Government adding that the consultancy services for preparation of Detailed Project Report would be completed by 31st March, 2018 and there after the tenders process will began for all sanctioned NHs. 

Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stone of a new link road to be constructed from Harijan Basti Barnoh to Government Senior Secondary School Dangoli via Abadi Rajputtan, Jattan and Mohalla Sauran to cost Rs. 4.52 crore. This would benefit a population of around 3000 of two villages of the area. He also laid foundation stone of improvement and augmentation of Lift Water Supply Scheme (LWSS) Momanyaar at Jogi Panga to cost Rs. 1.73 crore. The scheme will benefit a population of around 3500 of 10 villages of the area. The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone of improvement of LWSS Ramgarh-Dhar at Mandli  to cost Rs. 10.82 crore to benefit Population of 17500 of 55 villages of the area. He offered floral tributes to pandit Deen Dayal Upadahaya on his death anniversary.Member Parliament Shri Anurag Thakur lauded the efforts of the Minister from the area for getting the drinking water supply schemes sanctioned for the people. He welcomed the decision of the government of lowering the age for elderly for social security pension from 80 to 70 years, which will benefit larger section of aged. He said that it was the commitment towards the safety of women that the government launched Guddiya Help line 1515 and the Shakti App. Within a month of its regime the BJP government has taken many decisions including tightening noose on Drug and Forest Mafia. He said that the BJP intends to improve the rail connectivity and   Una-Nangal-Talwara rail line has also got the funds amounting to 80 crores  for completion of its around  eight to ten  kilometres of length in Himachal Pradesh. The efforts were afoot to get the adequate funds for Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Leh rail line which was important from strategic point of view. He also lauded the Universal Health Scheme as announced by Union Government. 

The National Health Protection Scheme under which Rs 5 lakh medical insurance cover will be provided annually to 10 crore families,he said. He said that he mulls to create sports infrastructure from his MP fund in his parliamentary constituency provided he receives NOC from the schools and also the sanitary napkin distribution scheme for girls in all schools in his parliamentary segment from his MP funds. anchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Shir Virendar Kanwar who represents the Kutlehar assembly constituency welcomed the Chief Minister to his home segment. While addressing on the occasion he said that scarcity of drinking water was the biggest problem o the area. However, it was in the regime of BJP under former Chief Minister Shti Shanta Kumar that Ramgarh-Dhar drinking water supply scheme was started in the area and thereafter nine more schemes were sanctioned for the constituency during the Chief Ministership of Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal whereas the congress government completely ignored the area. He said that he was grateful for laying foundation stone of improvement of Momaniyaar water supply scheme.He urged for improvement and augmentation of Rs.1.08 crore Badoli-Tiuri phase II water supply scheme and urged for construction of Check dams at various places in the constituency. He also urged for Staff in Community Health at Thanakalaan and Bangana. He also demanded a Link Road to Gehrakothi and few bridges over the local rivulets including one on Swan river. He demanded marketing yard at Bangana and Vet dispensary at Thanakala and Lathiani.A cheque of Rs 5 lakh was presented to the Chief Minister towards CM relief fund by Baba Pir Ghons, Bangana besides others also contributed generously for which the Chief Minister thanked the donors. Urban Development Minister Smt. Sarveen Chaudhary, State BJP President Shri Satpal Satti, MLAs Shri Rajesh Thakur, former Minister Shri Praveen Sharma, former MLA Shri Vijay Agnihotri, senior BJP leader Prof Ram Kumar and BJP Block President Shri Manohar Lal were also present on the occasion amongst others.
