A large number of social activists from different parts of Kashmir valley joined BJP. State Vice-President Ramesh Arora (Adv.) welcomed them in BJP in a impressive function organized at party headquarter, Kachi Chawni, Jammu and appreciated their will to join BJP by garlanding them. BJP State Secretaries Er. Ghulam Ali and Haleema Begum, were also present on the occasion.Ramesh Arora said that people of the country want the change in political scenario and everyone, especially youth want that Narendra Modi should become Prime Minister of the country.  Jammu and Kashmir is not exception to it that is why people are joining BJP at different places including Kashmir.

Arora stated that coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir has miserably failed to eradicate corruption, and was unable to formulate policies for absorbing youth in employment. Omar Abdullah headed government do not have any policy of using State resources and have ignored Jammu and Ladakh on the basis of caste, creed and religion. Even Shia community in Kashmir was ignored and protection was not provided to them in hostile atmosphere against them. He further stated that BJP will win maximum seats from state during forthcoming elections.

State Secretary Haleema Begum said that the women too are realizing that the Congress has been mother of all ills and it has added to the woes of common Indian family. The Congress has shattered the kitchen budget and it is becoming very difficult to manage family needs due to price-rise. She appealed the women to vote for BJP so that misdeeds of Congress are brought to end.Er. Gulam Ali welcomed all and said that it is Modi wave which is prevailing in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and Muslims are joining BJP in maximum number because the confusion created by Congress that BJP is a communal party is fading away because NDA government rule was appreciated by all and in the similar manner, we will get justice during the rule of Narendra Modi and we are sure that BJP will form government at Centre.Prominent among who joined BJP includes Gulzar Pardesi, Chaman Lal, Kabir Kumar, Bryan Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Lekh Raj, Baja Ram, Gulam Hadir, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohd. Hussain, Krishan Lal, Abdul Rehman, Sardar Ali, Nazir  Ahmed, Karmat Ali, Bag Ali and others.
