Aryans Engineering College, a constituent of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has been selected by Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar as a University Campus. With this, Aryans is amongst those 25 top Campuses of Punjab who have been selected by PTU as University Campuses. Aryans has launched a special Toll Free Helpline no. 1800-30000-388 on which students can get admission information.Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that it is a privilege for Aryans Group being selected among those 25 Campuses who are given this chance by PTU. He added that with this development, now PTU & Aryans would ensure much better academic standards, quality of education, infrastructure, Placements etc. He thanked VC, PTU for considering Aryans as a University Campus.
Dr Rajneesh Arora, VC, PTU while congratulating Aryans, said that Aryans has made its name in last 7 years. He said that Aryans Group is achieving new heights under the able guidance of the family of teachers including Dr Anshu Kataria and Dr Parveen Kataria. He added that it is among those few campuses in which promoters are highly qualified.It is to be mentioned that in the year 2014, PTU has taken one initiative under which around 25 Colleges are selected. PTU would ensure much better Infrastructure, faculty, placements etc. for these Colleges. On the one hand PTU would involve Guest Faculty from IIT, NIT, PEC etc. for these Colleges, on the other hand, some selected students would also get a chance to study some part of their course in Foreign Universities.It is to be mentioned that Punjab is emerging as the Education Capital of India. Besides the expansion of Private Education in Punjab, the new investment worth Rs. 65,000 crores by Govt. will produce 2 lac more employment opportunities in future. This is resulting in enticing students from other states also as after admission these students are getting job security too.
