Deputy Commissioner Prasanna Ramaswamy G chaired meeting to finalise Ransoo Town Plan, here today.Among others, Executive Officer Shiv Khori Shrine Om Prakash, DySP Satish Bhardwaj, Tehsildar Rajesh Baru, XENs PWD Hem Raj Langeh and various other officers were present in the meeting.Senior Town Planner Anil Raina explained the components of planning to the local land owners which include transport, communication, residential complex, camping sites, government office complex, hospital, green belt, bathing ghats, open air theatre, bus stand, road widening, helipad, water bodies and other infrastructural development.On the occasion, the local people were informed that the future development at Ransoo would be done as per the rules and norms of planning so that the tourist location is developed in a scenic and planned way.The people raised various queries and objections which were discussed minutely and resolved on the spot. The people demanded construction of residential buildings which has been banned at Ransoo since 13 years.Several deputations met the DDC, apprised him of their issues pertaining to basic amenities for which he assured that all possible measures would be taken to resolve the issues.
