Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh) , 03 Dec 2017

Known throughout the country and the world for its ancient temples, this Madhya Pradesh town now will also become famous for Anna Hazare's agitation for Jan Lokpal and farmers' issues with the social activist inscribing his call for the stir on a wall here on Sunday.Hazare will launch the stir in New Delhi on March 23 next year. He said he is unhappy with the current Central government as it favours only industrialists and is turning a blind eye to the plight of farmers."Against the law, farmers are being made to pay compound interest on their loans. The government knows this and yet no action has been taken on it. Hence, we have to resort to a strike," said Hazare as he wrote "23 March ko chalo Dilli (Let's go to Delhi on March 23)" on a wall."This agitation is not against a particular group or in favour of anyone. This is in favour of the public," he said.Hazare had, in 2011, launched a strike to implement Lokpal in the national capital and got massive public support, forcing the then United Progressive Alliance government to accept the demand.
