In a shocking incident, Examination Staff at Government Higher Secondary School Newa in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district refused to provide continuous sheets to Class 10th candidates.Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education has been conducting Class 10 examination for regular students for Kashmir Division.Yesterday, students appeared in Mathematics subject. Students who appeared at Centre number 6119 at Government Higher Secondary School Newa were seen crying after the culmination of examination-courtesy, callous attitude of examination staff. The students alleged that examination staff refused to provide them continuous sheets. “There was an hour left in the examination, when we demanded the continuous sheets, but to our shock, they refused to provide us the same stating that there are no continuous sheets available with them,” said a couple of girl students to news agency CNS.

Similar complaints poured in from students who had appeared in Mallinson School Srinagar. Girl students were seen weeping outside the examination centres. “I am so disappointed and frustrated that I want to end my life. The rude and irresponsible staffers in the examination centre (8172) did not provide continuous sheets even though half an hour was still left,” said a girl student.  When contacted Joint Secretary Examination, Syed Abdul Rouf instructed students to file a written complaint before his office so that he can investigate and take up the matter with the concerned examination staff.
