Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli Tuesday said that education is key to overall development and growth of the State adding that the Government is committed to provide quality education to the students at their door steps.The Minister was speaking at a function organized by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) at Higher Secondary School, Solki in Kalakote, Rajouri.The Minister said that the students of the State have tremendous talent and unique skills and the need is to channelize these in a proper and effective way so that they exhibit their potential at National and International level.On the occasion, the students presented colourful cultural programme.Congratulating the Management of the Academy for organizing the event in the area, the Minister said that such programmes provide knowledge to the people about the cultural ethos of each other besides giving a platform to youth exhibit their talent. He asked the concerned to conduct similar programmes in other parts of the district also especially far-flung areas.The function was attended by the staff of the school, teachers, parents, prominent citizens and students.Earlier, the authorities of Cultural Academy highlighted the achievements of the Academy.
