Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari reviewed the  development and security  scenario in Jammu division during a meeting held today.Divisional Commissioner  took a detailed review   of key developmental works from Deputy Commissioners and impressed upon them to closely  monitor all the developmental activities in their districts so that these are completed in stipulated  timeframe. He stressed the need for better synergy between the concerned  agencies so that the bottlenecks  affecting the project implementation  are removed  and fixed timelines  are met.He also took a detailed appraisal regarding the relief, rescue and rehabilitation plans devised by the respective district administrations in view of the cross border shelling.While taking a review of the security scenario across Jammu division Dr Bhandari reiterated the need for very close coordination being maintained amongst all the departments and agencies for ensuring prompt responses to ensure safety and security of the people.IGP  Jammu S.D. Singh Jamwal, Deputy Commissioner  Jammu Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, senior officers of police and civil administration and armed forces were present  in the meeting while concerned  Deputy Commissioners participated  in the meeting through video conference.
