Providing sustainable lighting solution for people of rural area, Congress Sewa Dal Incharge for Chenab Valley Sanjay Manhas today inaugurated Solar Street Lighting in Bhalessa which was donated by Honorable MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta.While appreciating the efforts of Honorable MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta, Manhas accompanied with Villagers thanked him for providing such essential commodities and believed that Lighting-up streets in remote areas light up the people who live there.  It makes their living environment a safer place and increases their sense of well-being.Manhas  added that Bhalessa , far-flung area of the district Doda , where scarcity of power is at peak; the distributed solar lights are not enough to overcome the scarcity hence more solar lights must be provided in order to gain much advantage from solar energy.He added “Congress believed that for growth to meaningful, it must change the lifestyle of ordinary people, both in rural and urban areas and it must be equitable, both geographically and socially. Despite sitting in opposition, congress is performing such major tasks for lifting the people of Rural as well as urban area which should be performed by parties sitting in power.”Public of bhalessa further requested the MLC to tour the farflung areas of bhalessa for redressal of grievances.During inauguration ceremony Manhas was accompanied by Mohd Abbas , Suramjeet Singh, Mohd Hassam, Koushal Kumar, Fulail Singh, Shabir Ahmed and others.
