A public grievance redressal camp was today held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Baramulla at Dak Bungalow Sopore.Additional Deputy Commissioner, SSP, JDP, Executive Engineers of PHE, Power Development Department and R&B, Trades Federation representatives, Mohala Presidents besides a large number people attended the camp.Issues related to health services, electricity, water supply, traffic management and road repairs, besides issue of food supply and home delivery of LPG supply was highlighted by the civil society members during the darbar.Moreover, the people apprised the issue of drug addiction and stressed upon curbing it at an earliest. The DDC assured that every step will be taken by the administration to eradicate this menace.The DDC listened to the problems projected at the camp and assured early redressal of genuine demands. He stressed the officers to provide basic facilities to the people of Sopore area. He said that District administration is committed to provide every facility to the people of the district.The DDC said that the Government has launched various schemes and programmes for the welfare of people and they should come forward and avail the benefits of the development programme and schemes.
