Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Talat Parvez Ruhella today asked the officers of the district to take pro-active steps for redressal of public issues.The DC was speaking at a public darbar of H.S Bugh & D.H Pora here.The main demands presented before the DDC were the provision of sports stadium, availability of adequate staff in PHC, construction of flood protection bund along Sunmon Nalla, fencing of HSS Zonal Education office in Frisal.Other demands included the construction of internal roads including Chanigam Frisal road, Arwani -Khudwani road,Redwani-Babapora road & providing the clean and adequate water supply and uninterrupted power, improvement in health care of Quimoh Tehsil was also discussed in the meeting.The meeting decided that Auqaf Committee will provide Grazing land and Sports Department would develop the ground with requisite facilities.DDC assured the delegation of DH Pora that administration will focus on mitigating the grievances of public.The DDC stressed on the officers to keep essential commodities including rice, sugar, kerosene oil, besides power & water supply available to the consumers.Deputy Commissioner assured the meeting that all the issues would be taken care of and immediate and pro-active steps shall be taken to address all the issues of district.Among others, the Darbar was attended by ADC Kulgam, ACR, ACD, ARTO, Exens of R&B, PDD, PHE, I&FC, other district officers besides Tehsildar and BDO of two constituencies.
